NINA and Johan Agebjörn buckle up on the neon highway with their Italo disco hypnosis: 'Hush Hush Baby'. Produced by Agebjörn, the atmospheric electronics, pulsating beat, and retro synth curvatures are intensified by NINA's seductive lyrics and trademark haunting vocal shimmers, provoking feelings of late night secrets and dark desires. 

NINA is an electronic music artist and singer-songwriter, well known for her deep shimmery vocal arrangements and ghostly romantic tone. She has worked with artists and producers such as Richard X, Oscillian, Ricky Wilde, Hunter As a Horse, and Radio Wolf. Her debut album ‘Sleepwalking’ gained her global recognition and critical praise among synthpop and retrowave aficionados, while her more recent, genre-defying sound is more trailblazing. Her artistic craft is ever-evolving with magazines such as WONDERLAND calling her music “…masterful…”. She has performed live worldwide and supported acts such Erasure, De/Vision, Johnny Jewel, and Cannons. 

Johan Agebjörn is highly recognised as the synth maestro behind the Neo-Italo-Disco project: Sally Shapiro. The project gained huge respect among artists and fellow producers in electronic pop genres, and although never a live act, it remains one of the most revered projects in the indie electronic music sector. While Sally Shapiro shines in the world of Electro-Disco, Agebjörn’s solo ambient, piano, and synth explorations evoke visions of a vast electronic landscape. His recent instrumental album ‘Southern Forest’ is a deep sonic dive into atmospheric dreamscapes of nature. Electricity Club UK commented on the overall feel of the record as “…an immersive sense of escapism.” 

NINA and Johan Agebjörn’s single ‘Hush Hush Baby’ comes out on November 14th as a digital download and will be available to stream. The release includes an instrumental version and a cinematic, synth-fluorescent remix by one of NINA’s frequent collaborators, Oscillian.
